Nigeria

Many people around the world consider Nigeria a key strategic nation to the spread of Christianity throughout western Africa. Nigeria, the world’s 5th largest oil-producing nation, is also the most populous country in Africa with some 140 million people-- including approximately 50 million Muslims and 150 unreached people groups! Over half the population lives in cities. Thousands die every day without knowing Christ. By 2010 it is estimated there will be 16-18 million orphans in Nigeria, largely due to the AIDS pandemic. The most crucial component of this ministry is the people who have dedicated themselves to this great work. Please pray for them and support and encourage them in every way possible! Thank you.
